The Nicholas Academic Centers (NAC) is an after-school college access program in Santa Ana, California. The centers were established in 2008 by Dr. Henry T. Nicholas, III in partnership with retired Judge Jack K. Mandel. The NAC provides academic, mentoring, social, college access and college success services; as well as need-based college scholarships to youth attending the Santa Ana Ana Unified School District and other neighboring Orange County, CA districts. Our program accepts students as early as 8th grade and follows them as until they graduate from college.
Students who wish to join the Nicholas Academic Centers must press the "Register" button on this page and follow the links to create an application. Our program targets First-Generation college-going students and students who come from low-income households.
NAC Alumni who wish to fill out their annual NAC Scholarship Application must press the "Register" button on this page and follow the links to complete their application.
All services provided by the NAC are made possible through the generosity of Dr. Henry T. Nicholas, III and the Henry T. Nicholas, III Foundation. We would not be able to work with as many students without his personal and his foundation support.
